2024 Nissan GT-R will be revealed today

Nissan will reveal its 2024 GT-R in Tokyo today at midday AEST (10am Japan time).

The company has offered up no details other than posting a link to the YouTube reveal stream on its media site.

Spied images taken at the event suggest it’s another iteration of the R35, with lots of carbon-fibre, and possibly a Nismo N-Attack-style wing.

It’s likely Japan-only, but we don’t have long to wait to find out more.

The R35 has been farewelled in Australia since Design Rules (ADRs) for side impact collisions meant the GT-R couldn’t be imported from October 31, 2021.

This final model was called the T-Spec.

Longer-term, we know Nismo division is working on a successor to the long-lived supercar, and it will be available with hybrid and even EV drivetrains. But that’s understood to be a few years off.
