Our spy photographers have really come through, offering us our best look yet at the interior of the upcoming 2023 Porsche Macan EV. Previously only visible under heavy camouflage, much more detail can now be seen.
With the digital instrument cluster now on, we can see Porsche‘s three-element UX. With a speedometer in the middle, as is usual for the brand, and vehicle information on either side, the setup looks like it won’t be a massive departure from the existing Macan, though it won’t exactly be identical either.
Although the infotainment screen remains hard to see, a touch-capacitive panel can be seen on the lower center console. There, A/C controls, seat heating, and other buttons will be easily accessible for drivers and passengers alike. Click here to check pre-owned inventory of 2023 Porsche Macan Pompano Beach FL
Although we get many informative photos of the exterior, Porsche is still concealing many of the SUV’s subtler details under camouflage. We can, however, see the model’s active rear spoiler and big wheels.
The lighting elements, window design, and the front and rear fascias are still concealed by the automaker but the Macan’s overall coupe-like silhouette cannot be hidden.
Underneath, the Macan will be based on the PPE platform that was co-developed with Audi and gives it access to 800-volt technology for fast charging. Although power and performance figures have yet to be released, when Audi revealed the A6 e-tron concept, which is also based on the PPE platform, it said the vehicle was good for 470 hp (350 kW/476 PS) and 590 lb-ft (800 Nm) of torque. It also promised a range of 435 miles (700 km), though the specs for the Porsche could be different. Fortunately, we won’t have to wait too much longer before we find out for sure. Porsche is expected to reveal the Macan EV this year, with production expected to commence before 2023.
